Joseph (Joe) Ives joined Alpadis as the Managing Director of the UAE office in 2025. His primary responsibilities are to lead the UAE team, develop Alpadis’ presence in the region, and ensure the delivery of a top-tier client experience for businesses, families, and high-net-worth individuals.
Joe has been in the Middle East for over 10 years and is a trusted expert in fiduciary, corporate, and private client services. He has extensive experience in structuring, succession planning, wealth preservation, and regulatory compliance, with a particular focus on supporting investors and international firms expanding into the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and the wider UAE market.
Prior to joining Alpadis, Joe was Commercial Director at a global investor services company, where he led strategic growth and client engagement across the UAE. Earlier in his career, he held senior business development, operational, and strategy roles with global financial services firms, where he was instrumental in expanding market presence and enhancing service offerings.
He is a qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and studied Criminal Law at Kent College of Policing (2009–2011). Outside of work, Joe has a strong interest in health and fitness, with a particular passion for hiking and the outdoors. He is an active sports enthusiast, both participating in and following a range of activities, and is a long-standing supporter of Plymouth Argyle. Beyond sport and fitness, he enjoys travel, discovering new experiences, and spending quality time with his family.
Mark Field joined the Alpadis Middle East team as the Director of Business Development in January 2024. His primary responsibilities are to manage key relationships with new and existing clients and to assist them with their required needs in the region.
Mark has been in the region for 9 years and is an expert in corporate services and business structuring. Using his excellent knowledge of the region and government procedures, he has assisted hundreds of companies with new market entry, restructuring existing businesses, and providing a range of outsourced back-office support services, including visas, payroll, and company administration.
Prior to coming to the UAE, Mark spent 15 years working in sales and marketing in the leisure and travel industry in London. He has a degree in Sport and Exercise Science and is a keen sportsman, with golf, football, and cricket being his main passions along with traveling. He has been to over 60 countries, and Brazil is next on his bucket list.
